Colleagues from RPG Chartered Accountants and RPG Chartered Financial Planners were finally able to come together after missing out on face to face group learning and social activities for over two years due to Covid restrictions. The session, billed as an Away Day, brought everyone together for a strategic update and series of team building and learning exercises to build commercial awareness amongst everyone across the group.
Chris Poston, Chief Operating Director of the RPG Group said, “It was wonderful to see everyone interacting together again.
“We had weekly social zoom calls and quarterly social events during the lock down periods which certainly made a big difference in terms of keeping in touch.
“We also initiated Learning Lunches by Zoom to complement our on-going training which were similar in content to the Away Day, but it made a huge difference having everyone together.
“As the RPG Chartered Financial Planning team is primarily based in St Asaph (North Wales) and RPG Chartered Accountants are in Manchester, colleagues in different offices don’t have the opportunity to meet up over coffee.”
The Away Day sessions included spaghetti tower building as an ice breaker, a case study, presentations and dinner.
