RPG celebrates DFK UK&I’s 30^th anniversary with fundraising for Liverpool Women’s University Hospital

Colleagues from RPG Chartered Accountants have come together with a fundraising campaign for Liverpool Women’s University Hospital in celebration of the 30^th anniversary DFK UK & Ireland conference.

RPG colleagues have donated items for the women and babies in need at the Hospital and contributed to a raffle which raised over £440. The success of the fundraising effort enabled the purchase of a huge array of toiletries and personal care products and items of clothing that had been requested by the team at the Hospital.

The DFK International’s Women in Leadership Committee has encouraged DFK member firms across the UK and Ireland to donate essential items that can provide practical support to women and families accessing services at Liverpool Women’s University Hospital.

This will culminate in volunteers from across DFK International coming together on Thursday to pack care packages for the women and babies at Liverpool Women’s University Hospital during the volunteering session of the DFK UK&I 30^th anniversary conference taking place this week.

Natalie Howell, Assistant Manager, Payroll and a member of the DFK International Women in Leadership Committee, has coordinated the collection at RPG’s offices in Manchester and St Asaph. She said: “I am overwhelmed by the support given by colleagues from across the firm who donated items, contributed raffle prizes and bought tickets. The final donation represents a huge collective effort and demonstrates the positive impact that can be achieved when people come together to support such a worthwhile cause.”
