We are very pleased to let you know that we have signed an agreement which means that Crawfords Chartered Accountants will be joining Royce Peeling Green Chartered Accountants (RPG). The deal is due to complete on Wednesday 31st March 2021 and the new firm will be known as Royce Peeling Green incorporating Crawfords.
We have known and respected the partners of RPG for many years and we can all see the perfect fit between the two firms. Crawfords and RPG share the client-centric approach and both firms will bring a number of service specialisms.
All of Crawfords’ partners will move to RPG and Crawfords’ partner Daniel Prais will join the RPG Group Board as well as becoming a Director of RPG Chartered Accountants.
Tony Wacks, who sadly passed away just before New Year, was fully involved in the discussions and had been very keen for the deal to be concluded. It is very sad that he will not join us.
The amalgamation gives us the springboard to strengthen and further develop our position in Manchester and further afield. We are already looking to expand both our combined business services and specialist tax teams.
Crawfords insolvency team including David Kaye, Alex Kachani and Tony Chan will bolster RPG’s strength in this area and a further insolvency practitioner has already been recruited who will join in us March.
Operations will be centralised at RPG’s offices at the Copper Room in the Deva City Office Park, Manchester, which is a short walk from our existing offices, where there are excellent meeting and parking facilities. In fact we were based at the Deva City Office Centre for three years prior to moving to our current office.
The management teams of both firms are very positive about the potential for the firm going forward and the expansion of the service that we will be able to provide for our clients.
