Royce Peeling Green Limited (RPG) is a leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in central Manchester. Due to internal promotions and the continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Senior within our Business Services Group to join our expanding practice.

RPG is a forward-thinking firm with ambitious growth plans. We primarily serve Owner-Managed Businesses (OMBs) and have also successfully expanded our portfolio to include Public Interest Entities (PIEs), PLCs, not-for-profit organisations, and UK subsidiaries of foreign groups. Our clients range from start-ups to businesses with revenues exceeding £700m, providing a diverse and dynamic work environment.

Based in our central Manchester office, the role will involve working primarily on accounts for clients’ across the Northwest, with some clients located further afield. This is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your career within a growing, supportive, and professional environment.

Requirements:
  • Either qualified by experience by way of a minimum or 5 years’ experience in practice or qualified or in the latter stages of completing the ACA or ACCA qualification, with a strong track record of excelling within a similar environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills٫ with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Good practical experience with accounting software packages – Xero, Sage.
  • Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues independently.
Responsibilities:

As a Senior in our BSG Team, you will:

  • Support Managers and Directors with a portfolio of clients, including regular communication, understanding the client needs, and ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Prepare and review financial statements (including management accounts, annual accounts) for clients, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist with preparing and filing corporation tax returns, personal tax returns, and VAT returns.
  • Oversee bookkeeping activities, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations.
