With roots going back a century, the accountancy firm of Royce Peeling Green – RPG – once based at offices in Manchester's Hilton Street and now at the Deva Centre, Trinity Way, is one of the best known and highly respected firms of chartered accountants in the North West and North Wales. In response to the wishes of clients, introducers of work and prospective clients the firm established an office in Central London offering the full range of RPG services.
As all our offices continue to grow the firm has recently recruited three further members of our senior professional team to ensure we are able to maintain our director led service.

We are looking for a qualified auditor and accountant to join our team. Our client base includes many owner managed businesses and companies in the property, manufacturing, wholesaling, legal and other sectors. As well as offering audit services, you can expect to utilise your accounting skills in assisting clients to prepare year end financial statements and to prepare draft tax computations. Much of your work will take place at our clients’ premises across the North West of England. You will be leading teams and training junior members of staff. The role encourages you to take part in a diverse array of audits allowing you to build a broad and flexible career.

James Amos joins RPG as Head of Tax based in our Manchester office. James is a Chartered Tax Adviser with more than 20 years’ experience advising companies and their directors on of a wide range of business tax issues.
Having originally trained with HM Revenue & Customs James moved to the accountancy profession and worked for several large accounting firms - Deloitte, KMPG and Ernst & Young. His clients included FTSE listed entities and significant international concerns.
More recently James has specialised in advising Owner Managed Businesses providing a wide range of tax services including advice on corporate acquisitions and disposals, Research & Development tax credits, share option schemes and remuneration planning. He has a great deal of experience advising on the personal and company tax implications of business start-ups including investments using the Enterprise Incentive Scheme and the Seed Enterprise Incentive Scheme.
The partners of Crouch Chapman, Chartered Accountants, are pleased to announce that their firm has merged with the London Office of Royce Peeling Green (RPG), Chartered Accountants to form RPG Crouch Chapman LLP. The firm and all partners and staff will operate from the current offices of Crouch Chapman at 62 Wilson Street, London EC2A 2BU.
Both firms have been established for over 100 years and share a common vision of building long term relationships with clients and introducers, putting client service at the heart of the firm. The combined firm will have eight partners.
Keith Chapman, senior partner at Crouch Chapman, will retire as a partner on the merger but will remain as an active consultant in the firm for at least two years. Commenting on the merger Keith said “I am delighted that we have come to an agreement with Royce Peeling Green to merge with their London office. RPG have been in practice in London for many years and their client portfolio dovetails perfectly with ourselves”.

We are pleased to welcome two new members to the team.
Martin Chatten joins the company as National Head of Audit. Martin has spent the majority of his career at large accountancy firms and is a fellow of the ICAEW.
For over 20 years he has worked with a wide range of entities: start up and owner managed businesses, not for profit organisations, pension schemes, charities, international and listed companies. Martin has extensive auditing and reporting expertise, including listed companies and IFRS, and has been involved with many corporate transactions; funder and acquirer due diligence, business plan validations and working capital reports to support fund raisings.
Alan Coleman joins RPG as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner with over 20 years of experience. Alan has worked at Ernst & Young in London and also at KPMG in Manchester working on high profile insolvencies including Barings Group of Banks and Commodore Computers. Alan now specialises in advising owner managed businesses and self employed individuals with cash flow problems and insolvency issues. Alan is licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
